Current Option : “Greg Chapman” will open Project 'Data Recovery Service' and republish all the assignments owned by 'Chris Preston’ by selecting the option make me Manager of the assignment.

Issues with above mentioned option : 

• There might be more than one assignment owner in project
• It is extremely difficult in Project Professional to find the owner of assignments
• Republishing large to medium size projects takes time depending upon “View Drop Folder Queue”
• If ‘Create New Task’ or ‘Assign My Self Option’ is used in PWA. Those assignment ownership does not transfer as those does not become assignment till accepted by Manager

PME “Ownership Transfer Tool” Option : ‘Project Server Administrator’ clicks on admin tab select the option > Manage Owners > Select the Option Select a Project to Transfer Ownership > Select the Project ‘Data Recovery Service’ > Select 'Chris Preston’ > Select ‘Greg Chapman’ as new owner and Transfers Ownership.

“All the assignments owned by ‘Chris Preston’ in Project ‘Data Recovery Service’ are transferred to ‘Greg Chapman’ "
