'Chris Preston’ is being replaced by 'Greg Chapman’ all the assignments owned by ‘Chris Preston’ should move to 'Greg Chapman' 

Current Option : “Greg Chapman” will open all Projects in which 'Chris Preston’ is assignment owner and republish all the assignments owned by 'Chris Preston’ by selecting the option “make me Manager of the assignment”.

Issues with above mentioned option : 

• There might be more than one assignment owner in project

• It is difficult find all the projects in which 'Chris Preston’ is assignment owner

• There might be multiple projects owned by 'Chris Preston’

• It is extremely difficult in Project Professional to find the owner of assignments

• Republishing large to medium size projects takes time depending upon “View Drop Folder Queue”

• If ‘Create New Task’ or ‘Assign My Self Option’ is used in PWA. Those assignment ownership does not transfer as those does not become assignment till accepted by Manager

PME “Ownership Transfer Tool” Option :

‘Project Server Administrator’ clicks on admin tab select the option > Manage Owners > Select the Option Select a Resource to Transfer Ownership > Select 'Chris Preston’ > Select ‘Greg Chapman’ as new owner and Transfers Ownership.

“All the assignments owned by ‘Chris Preston’ in all Projects are transferred to ‘Greg Chapman’
